How are students supposed to read to learn if they can’t read or don’t speak English? How can schools afford to provide core-subject related books in a variety of languages? Given the number of immigrants arriving in our schools, educators must be responsive to their language-learning needs as students learn basic subject matter. Unlike most digital book platforms, the curated material from 11 publishers is designed to help educators supplement core-subject learning including history, social studies, and science. One publisher provides science and social studies curriculum. There is no cost to add languages to a title; the subscription includes all languages available. As languages are added to titles, the languages will simply show up. Both classroom and school licenses offer unlimited, simultaneous access to books with all languages for students to read at home or at school. One student may read in Arabic as another reads in Spanish while another in English. Educators may roster students using Canvas, ClassLink, Clever, Google Classroom, Schoology or use an excel template. The platform has a fully integrated LMS & live chat for remote learning.
