Favourite Beers opened on Friday 8th October 2010 as the only specialist Beer and Cider outlet in Gloucestershire. It has quickly established itself as the regional centre for beer and cider lovers from a much larger region. Their recent installation of ten craft keg taps and regular Friday Evening beer clubs has seen it also become one of the trendiest places to drink in the area. This is a family business, which has been run since they opened by Leigh Norwood and his daughter Rosie Ferner - Rosie is taking over the reins in 2021 although Leigh will still be around. Both are passionate about the products they sell and are keen to spread the word (and the taste) of the excellent beers, ciders, wines and meads that are now available from a host of breweries and producers up and down the country. Favourite Beers has an ever changing range of over 500 UK craft and traditional beers, a large range of international beers featuring over 120 from Belgium and an expanding range of excellent German, US and other European beers. We also carry a range of local ciders, English wines and meads. The range of UK beers permanently features a growing number from breweries within the local region and this is supplemented by an ever changing selection from around the country. Their beers are available to buy individually or in bulk and they also have a number of gift package options (ideal for presents – as are their Gift vouchers). Over the years they have regularly hosted a multitude of in-store events including ‘Tutored Tasting Evenings’ and ‘Meet The Brewer’ events.
