FCL - Foster Contracting Ltd has developed continuously for 120 years. We were first established in 1895, then incorporated in 1911, originally as the Essex Steam Rolling Association, operate and/or renting out 20+ steam rollers. FCL's head office (for Southern & Central UK contracts) is located at Kelvedon, near the A12 Colchester, Essex. FCL's Northern depot (for Northern UK, Ireland and offshore contracts) is located at Dunkeld, near the A9 Perth, Perthshire. FCL's most recent hub office near the A46 Lincoln, is managed by Craig Andrews, our Technical Director, for the FCL Group. We have built a reputation as a high quality, reliable contractor, offering best value across a range of specialist civil engineering services across multiple sectors. The engineers who staff our fully equipped workshops, are kept up to date with the latest developments both technically and with health and safety matters. Much of our equipment is designed and built, or modified in-house. FCL’s main services include: – Hydroblasting, for line marking and paint removal, surface preparation and retexturing, deep cleaning of spills and runway rubber removal. – Spraying bitumen and laying reinforced geosynthetic interlayers, to extend pavement life, reducing the frequency of your maintenance interventions. – Specialist treatments, such as surface dressing, sealing and rejuvenation. – Installation of HAPAS approved crack / joint sealants and over-banding, and PacoPatch cover repairs. – Supply only service for geosynthetics and tack / bond coats. So, no matter what stage of its lifecycle a surface is in, we can ensure that it remains safe, reliable and resilient for as long as possible.
