FD Consultants is a global psychological health consultancy. We use expertise, evidenced-based support, and best practice learning to empower people to heal from psychological distress including, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), vicarious trauma, burnout and stress. At FD Consultants we offer a flexible approach to treatment, taking into account the complexities and different needs individuals have within the diverse humanitarian landscape. We achieve a high rate of recovery at 90%, compared to the NHS service in the UK that stands at 50.8% recovery rates. FD Consultants offer services to enable organisations and individuals to remain resilient in highly stressful environments and situations. We work with individuals and organisations to simplify complex materials and to take education to the broadest possible audiences. At FD Consultants we offer duty of care policy and standard setting consultancy. We offer a Mental Health Incident Management programme, which includes risk assessments, guidance in identifying high-risk roles and regular screening services to maintain an individual’s resilience. We are highly respected for our Trauma Management Service, which offers specialist evidence-based treatment to enable successful recovery of staff. We have developed several bespoke training programmes for the humanitarian and emergency first responders sector, including peer support programmes, wellbeing and resilience, and stress and trauma awareness. FD Consultants have associates based in over ten countries who can speak eight languages. All associates have facilities to see clients face-to-face or remotely. Moreover, FD Consultants has a pool of associates to call upon when needed and would therefore be able to scale up quickly in a crisis. In the last year alone, we have supported staff in 48 countries and managed critical incidents in 11 countries.
