We provide a complete one stop shop offering equipment for every type of helipad installation, from offshore oil and gas, to onshore hospitals and heliports, plus portable solutions that can be in used in any location. At the heart of our approach is a wealth of expert knowledge as to industry standards and recommended practices as set-out by the major aviation authorities in force throughout the world. Read Our Story (below) Back in 2007, we were asked to supply a Prohibited Landing Marker (PLM) and Helicopter Crash Rescue Locker (HCRL) to an offshore helideck that we had designed and built. Whilst searching for a solution, it became apparent that there were no online suppliers available for this type of equipment. As a result, we studied the relevant standards and recommended practices and developed our very own range of PLMs and HCRLs. This experience lead us to undertake a period of extensive research, which resulted in the launch of www.heliportsequipment.com in October 2010. The website was set up to provide a knowledgeable, and helpful resource for Helideck Landing Officers (HLO) and Helicopter Landing Site Operators, both on and offshore. FEC Heliports Equipment is ISO 9001:2008 certified, a member of the British Helicopter Association and Association of Air Ambulances. Our product range extends to fixed and portable heliport lighting, Prohibited Landing Markers, Helicopter Crash Rescue Lockers, helideck landing nets, Red Box auxiliary power units, fire-fighting and rescue equipment. We have supplied equipment to over 90 countries worldwide. Our client base includes Shell, Exxon Mobil, Petronas, Chevron, Petrofac, The United Nations, Babcock Mission Critical Services Onshore, Bristow Helicopters and many more internationally recognised organisations.
