About FedWed - The Federation of Wedding Photographers and Filmmakers
The Federation of Wedding Photographers and Filmmakers is a membership support system for wedding creatives to connect, learn and book. We create in-person events with a key focus on networking to help wedding photographers and filmmakers connect with each other, and grow a meaningful network of supportive colleagues to help them thrive in business and avoid the loneliness that can come from such a solitary job. We host and run workshops and shoot days to help wedding creatives learn new skills from us, our workshop hosts and from each other to grow their skill base, develop creatively and find their artistic voice which is the foundation of a fulfilling creative business. We've created a directory for search engines and engaged couples to find our members when looking for a wedding photographer or filmmaker to help them book work. And we've created a unique directory for our members to find each other and work together as assistants, associates or second shooters. FedWed is the first all-round support system in the wedding photo and video industry. We are proud to have partnered with Sony, Nanlite and Graphistudio in our mission to create a united and positive wedding media industry, and we're always looking for partners and sponsors who want to support us in our mission!
