About Feeding Fundamentals
Founded in 2010 by Erin Sundseth Ross, Ph.D., CCC-SLP to provide clinical consultation, program evaluation, and professional development services to neonatal and pediatric healthcare professionals. Dr. Ross applies her deep knowledge and broad experience in the NICU and Early Intervention settings to all her teachings. Her work is dedicated to supporting positive oral feeding practices in premature and medically fragile infants, and young children. She further uses her expertise in program development and evaluation, biostatistics, research methodology and outcome measurement to drive meaningful and positive change in health system processes and professional practice in these areas. Her consultation and professional development services enable both professionals and healthcare systems to work towards improving positive oral feeding outcomes in medically-fragile infants and young children. Purpose Engage in research to investigate the most effective oral feeding practice approaches in the neonatal and medically fragile infant populations, and disseminate these findings to both clinical and parental caregivers to promote application and positive outcomes.
