About Feix&Merlin Architects

Feix&Merlin is a creative design studio based in London, working across the fields of architecture, interiors and product design, co-founded by Julia Feix & Tarek Merlin in 2006. We design buildings from the inside out, rather than from the outside in, because these are the bits of the building that you use every day. We are interested in people’s lives and experiences and how, together, we can make them better. Julia and Tarek met whilst working with some of the industry’s most high-profile and well respected practices in architecture and interiors, from Alsop Architects, to yoo design studio, and Buckley Grey Yeoman. Together they have over 30 years of experience delivering projects in a variety of different sectors from hospitality and commercial office, to large scale residential and masterplanning projects. Feix&Merlin projects include the Peacock Theatre for The LSE London School of Economics and Sadler’s Wells; The Conduit - Member's Club Mayfair, interiors for a new build Hotel in Hamburg; new housing typologies for Peabody Estates and Barratt, and development projects for Igloo and Urban Splash and Argent at King’s Cross, as well as a number of private residential projects in and around London.
