About Feldheim Publishers
Feldheim Publishers is a family-owned and operated publishing house established in 1939. When Philipp Feldheim escaped the tragic horrors of the Holocaust and arrived in New York City, he established a modest bookstore on the Lower East Side. Recognized the growing need for authentic Hebraica and Judaica, his small enterprise expanded to become Philipp Feldheim Inc., publishers of "Torah Literature of Quality." The new company took an innovative turn as well. Mr. Feldheim sought to produce English translations of Hebrew texts, making them accessible to an English-speaking public. Alongside this important work, he also published high-quality texts of Jewish law, Jewish thought and philosophy; also books for young readers and novels for adults. For over seventy years, Feldheim has combined state-of-the-art production methods, dedicated personnel, and professionalism to bring you the finest in Torah literature. Every manuscript is scrutinized for halachic accuracy, to reflect Torah values, and for educational and literary merit. Only the finest Judaica bears the Feldheim imprint.
