About FEMMES+ at Duke
Females and Allies Excelling More in Math, Engineering, and Science, or FEMMES+, is a student-run organization that hosts educational outreach programs related to math, science, and engineering for students in the Durham community. We encourage the students to explore their potential in math, engineering, and science through an annual, free-of-charge, one-day capstone event and several after-school programs. Through FEMMES+, Duke undergraduates, graduates, and faculty members volunteer their time to instill enthusiasm about their careers in the developing minds of young students. FEMMES+ is open to all that support FEMMES+ mission, regardless of gender. All students are welcome to join. FEMMES+ adheres to and complies with Duke University’s non-discrimination policy.
