About Feng Cha
Before Feng Cha became a community of over 80 shops across the U.S., it was just a boy and a girl — two college friends who shared laughs, dreams, and one favorite ritual: hanging out at the local boba shop. That shop was more than a place for sweet drinks. It was a sanctuary after long lectures, a spot for spontaneous late-night chats, and the backdrop to a love story that would one day blossom into a business. Back then, we were just boyfriend and girlfriend, not yet husband and wife. But we knew one thing for sure — boba had a magical way of turning ordinary moments into unforgettable ones. In December 2017, we opened our very first Feng Cha in Richardson, Texas. With no big franchise plan in mind — just a shared love for boba and a desire to recreate those chill, feel-good moments for others — we poured everything into crafting a space where anyone could walk in and feel at home. That spirit of connection and joy became the foundation for our mission: To make a positive impact on the people around us and our community, whether small or big. As we’ve grown, Feng Cha has evolved into a vibrant hub that celebrates variety, creativity, and customization.
