About Feng Chen Wang
Feng Chen Wang is a Chinese-born, London-based designer at the forefront of a new generation of fashion talent emerging from China. Feng studied MA Fashion Menswear at the prestigious Royal College of Art, London, graduating in 2015. Describing her aesthetic as “future-modern, authentic and multidimensional”, Feng fuses traditional craftsmanship with innovative technology and technical deconstruction. Her design ethos draws inspiration from her life experiences and Chinese heritage to create gender neutral clothing that is functional, conceptual and personal. Feng Chen Wang debuted at New York Fashion Week for Spring Summer 2016, earning a nomination for the LVMH Prize. After many years of showing during London Fashion Week Men’s, of which her Autumn Winter 2020 collection was a finalist of the International Woolmark Prize, Feng Chen Wang moved to the official Paris Fashion Week calendar for Spring Summer 2023. Describing her aesthetic as “future-modern, authentic and multidimensional”, Feng focuses on technical deconstruction, creating unisex clothing that is functional but at the same time conceptual and personal, drawing on her life experiences and Chinese heritage. Feng Chen Wang debuted at New York Fashion Week for Spring Summer 2016 earning a nomination for the LVMH Prize, since then the brand has been a permanent and celebrated fixture on the official London Fashion Week Men’s schedule with her most recent AW20 collection and as a finalist of the International Woolmark Prize.
