About Fenix Film & Television
Founded in 2019, Fenix Film & Television has quickly established itself as one of the leading production companies in Alberta. Collectively, our team has produced successful tv shows for major networks including, Discovery, HGTV, History, APTN, T+E, Super Channel and OUTtv, with Fenix most recently producing two seasons of the ground-breaking docu-reality series, PUSH for CBC. The show, which marked the first major-network series in Canada to feature a full leading cast of people with disabilities, has been celebrated for its ‘person first’ storytelling and unfiltered portrayal of life as a wheelchair user. Fenix’s co-produced feature-length documentary, ONLY UP, which investigates the staggering gender inequality that persists in the fast-growing world of aviation, premiered on Super Channel in January 2024. In addition to a continued focus on premium factual and documentary content, Fenix has an active scripted division with a focus on 1-hour drama.
