About FENIXVILLAGE

Based on the notion that artistic cross-pollination provides new insights and movements, the desire has arisen grown to recreate the crucibles of the 19th- and 20th century, which arose naturally in Europe, in the new millennium. Fenixvillage shall ‘rise’ from the depopulated and severely affected rural areas of eastern and southern Europe, respecting the local culture, economy and population. In an authentic rural environment, Fenixvillage is destined to become a modern facilitated and contemporary crucible of artistic activities, a source of knowledge as well as a collection of talent. The high level of cross-pollination will initiate developments and bring change and renewal. Innovation is key, more even, innovation is essential. Fenixvillage forms a melting pot from which radical ideas are born through cross pollination and cross innovation in which knowledge engineering (science and technology) shakes the boundaries of science, technology and philosophy. An interdisciplinary approach is crucial to this, in which the artists formulate answers to the challenges facing society tomorrow. The early 20th century expressionists wanted to change course and change society. Fenixvillage stands for change, renewal and new hope, by housing creative freedom and high-level knowledge in the depopulated and affected areas of our contemporary European society.
