Fettle Ltd - Paul & Emily We both fell in love with vans and the lifestyle they can offer, the freedom they provide. Meeting each other through work at a van conversion company we soon realised, we have the same goals. Our love for vans brought us together and now we want to share that with others. So here we are with fettle, a Cumbrian word that means a lot of things but we like to focus on the 'to fix or solve a problem'. The Lake District is our home and we wanted a part of that to be a part of who we are as a company. Both being perfectionists means we will always strive for the highest quality finish, be it a kitchen cupboard, a sliding wetsuit rack or a little hook for hanging a fruit basket in (we really will do anything in a van you ask for). Make, build, create. Vans are important to people, we get that. We are van people. So when we take on a van we make it reflect that person, what they want to get out of it and the space they need. Completing full campervans, from the bare shell of a van we can fit all electrics, gas, units, carpeting and so on. We enjoy the creative process and may even think of things that would never have crossed your mind, but will improve your van life - even if only slightly. We will never say 'No that's more work' our attitude is 'That will be so cool, let's do it!' We use CAD & CNC to compliment our craftmanship so the possibilities are limitless. Why limit it to campers? Of course our initial focus is on campervans but we love solving problems, so if you have a small space you want to make multi functional or just little bits to improve then please do let us know.
