About Fiber Art And...

FiberArtAnd è uno spazio per l’arte contemporanea fondata nel 2008 a Milano da Gabriella Anedi che nasce con l’intento di promuovere la conoscenza e la diffusione della fiber art e degli artisti che operano, esclusivamente o prevalentemente, con materiali flessibili, fibre naturali e artificiali. In questi anni sono state organizzate mostre collettive e personali e, in collaborazione con istituzioni pubbliche e private, eventi legati al patrimonio e alle tradizioni tessili locali, tra cui, dal 2010 Muse Diffuse a Gressoney Saint-Jean e dal 2013 Ricamo contemporaneo a Rosignano Monferrato. Gabriella Anedi è una storica dell’arte, gallerista e curatrice con al suo attivo molte pubblicazioni nel campo dell’arte antica e più recentemente nel Novecento e nella Fiber Art. Ha collaborato con diverse istituzioni tra cui Pinacoteca di Brera, Museo Poldi Pezzoli, Gallerie d’Italia. Ha curato mostre in sedi museali, tra cui Palazzo Reale a Milano, a Villa Reale a Monza, Villa Manin e Fondazione Orestiadi. Ha avviato uno scambio artistico di paesaggisti europei, con stage in Liguria e mostre organizzate con la Contea di Levante. Inoltre cura con il Comune di Gressoney Saint-Jean il festival Muse Diffuse dal 2010 e con Rosignano Monferrato Ricamo contemporaneo.
