The very first composite manhole cover was designed by Fibrelite as a prototype for Esso UK, to eliminate health and safety issues associated with traditional metal covers. Now recognised internationally as the industry standard in highly engineered GRP/FRP composite access covers, Fibrelite manufactures a comprehensive range of high-performance composite manhole covers, modular trench covers and underground enclosures, offering the best strength to weight ratio in the industry. Flexible load ratings range from 1.5 Tonnes (3,400 lb) to 90 Tonnes (202,000 lb). Our manufacturing flexibility enables us to produce standard or customised products. Our dedicated product development team are continually working with our customers, developing new products designed to fit their individual needs.
