About FIF Portugal

The InsurTech and FinTech Portugal Forum / FIF is a new non-profit private law association that aims to promote debate, reflection, sharing, training, and interaction between the different stakeholders in innovation processes and methodologies - mainly linked to technological solutions - that have an impact on the following sectors: Finance, in particular Banking and Insurance, and transversely Payments, Regulation and Supervision of these two sectors, as well as Health. FIF also aims to be a forum for the dissemination of innovative solutions and case studies from the national and international market, through the organization of events and webinars, as well as through the dissemination through the various organizations that are close to it, namely counterparts in other countries, in particular Madfintech (Madrid), MiaHub, which is very strong in the West of the United States and throughout Latin America, and TDI_The Digital Insurer. Several strategic partnerships are currently being negotiated, with PWC Portugal's already guaranteed. Most of the members of this Association's bodies were members of the Working Groups of the now defunct AFIP, the Fintech and InsurTech Association of Portugal, which, in collaboration with Madfintech, has organized the Iberian InsurTech Forums since 2021, among many other events. They joined forces to provide continuity and a new dynamic through FIF, and are now part of its governing bodies, which has a multifaceted team of experienced managers in the areas of Strategy, Innovation and Digital Transformation, Distribution/Marketing, IT, Operations, and Legal.
