Whether it is a simple hydroponic system, lighting issue, brew idea, or commercial scale operation, we are dedicated to trouble shooting problems and answering questions about a customer’s beer, plants, DIY endeavors, and growing methods. As a small business, we aim to treat all employees with kindness and respect, seeking their input, encouraging their creativity, and providing opportunities for growth. A good idea can come from anywhere, so we encourage all employees to offer suggestions. At Fifth Season Gardening Company we feel as though we can make a difference in our communities by placing environmental sustainability at the center of what we do. We feel that choosing organic methods is the first step to creating a sustainable garden, which grows rich soil first, and plants second, and will continue to produce for generations to come. Teaching hydroponics to farmers and large-scale gardeners also offers a ray of hope. These practices reduce water usage, increase yields, reduce pest and disease problems, and do not deplete the soil of nutrients. By sharing and passing along this knowledge, we hope to leave the world better than we found it. Our relatively new Eco Home department directly addresses issues of sustainability by offering a range of products that cut down on waste, use environmentally friendly alternatives to plastics, and are sustainably produced.
