About Fight on the Beaches
Fight on the Beaches is a Northern Beaches cancer fundraising group run by 6 women who have all lost loved ones to cancer. In just 9 short years, thanks to the unwavering support of the Northern Beaches community, Fight on the Beaches has raised in excess of $2 million for cancer research. This has equated to the funding of 12 cancer researchers for a period of 12 months each, and the co-funding of a Clinical Trials Co-ordinator at Northern Beaches Hospital. The majority of funds raised are through our annual 'Christmas in July' Charity Ball, as well as smaller local events thoughout the year.
