About Fighting Amish Electric
Fighting Amish Electric is a small family-owned electrical contracting company established in 2004 by brothers Daan and Inder Rottger. We are hands-on, detail-oriented, dedicated to quality, and we do all our own work. We do all forms of residential wiring, including service upgrades and sub-panel/fuse box rewires, kitchen/bath remodels, recessed lighting, spa runs, second units, etc. We happily tackle all sizes of projects (entire home rewires on down to just replacing an old two-prong polarized receptacle.) Troubleshooting is definitely our strong point. We do any and all residential and light commercial troubleshooting (simple fixes such as diagnosing a mis-wired timer or bad switch, to much more complex and difficult "why did the original knucklehead who wired this do it this way ...and how do we get it to work as intended?") We also do light commercial work (we're a small outfit, so the scale of projects we can tackle is usually limited to smaller businesses). We've done work for Bentley School and Ecole Bilingue de Berkeley as well as small shops and restaurants like 900 Grayson, Red Wagon, Twig and Fig, Bernal Bubbles, and more. We bid our work project by project, allowing you to see a detailed breakdown of costs so that you can best prioritize your budget. We take the time to clearly explain what needs to be done, how it will be done, and what complications might arise along the way. This helps take the guesswork out of contracting (both for the client and for us) so that at the end of the project, the work performed looks exactly as it was described. We're licensed, bonded, insured, and best of all, we offer free estimates. Just give us a call or send us a message via our website at fightingamishelectric.com.
