About Fighting H.A.R.D Foundation
Fighting H.A.R.D. foundation was started in August of 2015 with the mission of helping children with rare diseases and chronic illnesses to know that they are not alone. We accomplish this by sending care packages across the country, providing emotional support through social media and get-togethers, and financially assisting kids and their families by providing things like meals, groceries, and medical equipment not covered by insurance. We currently assist 45+ families right here in New Jersey and are working on expanding into the tri-state area. As of 5/1/2023, we have raised over $450,000 towards our mission. This past year, we provided 320 care packages to kids and their families. We also paid for $17,000 worth of medical and travel expenses, awarded $2,000 in scholarships, and collected 900+ items for our holiday gift drive. With the help of our board of directors and over 150 active volunteers, we are excited to embark on an even bigger and better year ahead as we strive to hit half a million dollars raised by the end of 2023.
