Filtec Precise Inc. is a part of the filtec group which comprised of Filament Technik, Baesweiler, Germany, Kamenzer Zwirnerei, Kamenz, Germany and filtec precise inc, Tabor City, North Carolina, USA. The filtec group works closely with fiber producers and textile engineers. This cooperation combines the expertise of many different partners during all research and development procedures. This, in turn, results in innovative, customized solutions for in converting yarn. An outstanding example is the development of hybrid yarns consisting of a new variety of material combinations. As a full service yarn converter Filtec Precise specializes in twisting of filament yarns. We twist the industrial staples like polyester and nylon as well as high end specialty yarns like Honeywell Spectra Fiber, Teijin Twaron and Technora and high temperature resistant Aresolon as well as carbon conductive fibers. We process the full gamete of denier ranges from 200 to 210,000 denier with heavy denier plying and cabling our specialty. All fibers processed and finished by the filtec group are used throughout the world in a variety of different applications. Examples are filter fabric, conveyer belt fabrics, construction textiles, geotextiles, narrow fabrics, hoses, lifting equipment rubber components, sewing thread and in medical engineering. New applications for high tenacity yarns are being developed every day. Filtec was one of the first companies in the industry to be certified in accordance with ISO. To guarantee continued quality performance, we have been audited and registered in accordance with the new ISO 9001:2015 standard.
