About Filthy Fox Auction Club

The Filthy Fox Auction Club is an art auction club based in London and run by two friends: Alexandra Hochgürtel and Paula Pfitzner. Being part of the eco-system of the art college, it has become painfully clear to us how difficult the start of an artistic career within the inaccessible art market can be. The need for more opportunities for a broader range of artists is what triggered the creation of the Filthy Fox Auction Club. Through our fun pop-up auction events (off- and online), we wish to empower early career artists by selling their artworks directly through us. All artists for each auction are hand-selected by us and receive 100% of the hammer price. Our auctions are social gatherings to enjoy and engage with art and artists, alongside live- performances and drinks. With our club-for-all culture we bring fresh contemporary art to anyone who might feel intimidated to buy art from galleries. (Also we are more affordable !) The Filthy Fox Auction Club aims to democratize and dedust the rigid art and auction market and make space for new voices. Our core values are transparency, playfulness, fairness, accessibility, and inclusivity. We want our artists and art buyers to feel 100% at ease and help them to connect. 👉👈
