About FinanceLab

FinanceLab stands as the largest and oldest finance-focused student organization within the academic landscape. With a rich history spanning over a decade, we've firmly established ourselves as pivotal to nurturing finance professionals of the future. Our reach extends across Denmark, with active departments in both Copenhagen and Aarhus, ensuring that our influence and resources are accessible to a broad spectrum of students. The organization rests on three pillars: Education, Performance, and Network. The first pillar gives students interested in finance the opportunity to sharpen their skill set and increase their knowledge beyond academics. To do this, we offer a range of extracurricular activities, such as courses and lectures with speakers from both the academic and professional world. The Performance pillar is dedicated to fostering excellence and developing a competitive edge among our members. Through participation in competitions, simulations and workshops, students can apply their theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios. Every year, the FinanceLab Study Trip enables top-performing students to create a network in London and get the extra edge needed to land an internship. This initiative is a testament to our Network pillar, which emphasizes the importance of building strong connections within the industry. Over the years, we have hosted more than 200 events. These events range from workshops and seminars to networking sessions, all designed to equip ambitious students with the knowledge, skills, and connections necessary to thrive in the competitive world of finance.
