About Financial Literacy for the Youth (FLY)
Financial Literacy for the Youth, Inc. is formed as a charitable corporation under the Not-for-Profit Corporation Law for literary and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3). Our mission is to increase financial literacy and fiscal wellness by empowering young people to understand and take control of their personal finances with the intention that those we serve will, in turn, utilize their knowledge and skills within their communities with the end goal of providing a springboard to help those communities thrive economically. Through a range of delivery methods that include group lessons, community forums, and guest speaker sponsorships, we provide personal financial wellness education on budgeting, taxes, insurance, loans, credit and debit, financial accounts, stocks, bonds, and mutual funds.
