About Find Your Feet
One in nine people around the world will go to bed hungry tonight. The majority of these people, like the families we work with, live in very remote areas of Asia and Africa without the means or opportunity to speak out and change things for the better. We know that hunger is a global issue and we must be realistic about what we can achieve as a small organisation, which is why we focus on implementing quality projects in four countries, India, Nepal, Malawi and Zimbabwe. Our work supports vulnerable rural families to grow enough food so they can feed their children all year round and earn enough money so they can send their children to school and pay for basic medicines. Furthermore, we empower the families we work with, especially the women, to make their voices heard on the issues that matter to them such as accessing clean water. We believe in social justice: a world in which everyone has the right to build a future free from hunger and poverty.
