About Finding Hope for FRRS1L
In 2021 a group of Frizzle parents came together to start Finding Hope of FRRS1L nonprofit organization. Our Mission: To create a community of Hope for FRRS1L gene disorder children and families to connect, communicate, collaborate, and support one another; To serve to fund the research and development of gene therapy replacement treatment, that has been proven in research to bring FRRS1L mouse back to function; and to share information and resources with the public, medical professionals, and researchers to increase the awareness and understanding of FRRS1L. Frizzle is found all around the world and in multiple people groups. Countries include: Afghanistan, Croatia, Germany, India, Italy, Middle East, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, South Korea, and the USA. We have life-changing treatment identified, we just need help funding the development of the treatment so we can treat and save the lives of Frizzle kids around the world.
