About FIRC
FIRC is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of all forms of powerboat racing. FIRC was founded in 1964 to promote and stage inboard powerboat races at the Miami Marine Stadium. The stadium remained open until 1994. Now, the stadium is slated for restoration and the sound of powerboat racing will return to Miami. FIRC will be at the forefront. FIRC has been reborn for the purposes of education, promoting all varieties of powerboat racing, preserving the history of powerboat racing, and cultivating unity and good fellowship amongst us.
