About Fireflies West

We are a community of cyclists from the creative industries. Our mission is to raise funds for cancer research and provide support to those affected by this devastating disease. Fireflies West: For over 16 years, we have organized an annual week-long charity bike ride over 600 miles, traditionally from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Since our inception, we have raised over $4 million in support of City of Hope. Fireflies Cycling Club: Founded as a way to increase the spirit, community and positivity of our tours with training rides. FFCC LAX is our Los Angeles chapter with over 500 cyclists on our weekly email list. Globally we have chapters in LDN, LAX, SFO, MEX, MAD, SCL & PMI. Each year we raise funds for cancer research via 3 main cycling tours in the US, Patagonia and Europe.
