FIRESAFE Fire Rated Ductwork® Ltd (FFRDL) is a British company specialising in non-coated fire resisting ductwork systems. We were granted a Queen's Award for Enterprise in 2019 and continue to innovate to keep us at the forefront of the Passive Fire Protection industry, both in the UK and around the World. We own the IP rights of, and are the licensor for, CASWELL FIRESAFE® - our globally manufactured range of branded fire resisting ductwork products. FFRDL are active in promoting, educating and campaigning to raise awareness of fire safety issues and solutions. We are CIBSE Patrons, members of the CIBSE CPD Providers Network, full members of the ASFP (Association for Specialist Fire Protection) and ADCAS (Association of Ductwork Contractors and Allied Services) in the UK. Overseas we are recognised as a long time supporter and Silver Member of SMACNA (Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association) CASWELL FIRESAFE® was developed in the early 2000s and has been tested and assessed in accordance with the British Standard BS476 Part 24 : 1987 by Warrington Fire and Research (now Exova Warringtonfire). We also have CASWELL FIRESAFE® product tested and certified to EN1366:Parts 1&8; allowing it to be CE marked where in scope. FFRDL work closely with selected International Partners who hold a licence to manufacture and distribute CASWELL FIRESAFE® systems in their geographic regions. CASWELL FIRESAFE® has been successfully installed on many prestigious developments through this network which extends throughout the UK, EU, the Middle East, Hong Kong / Macau, Malaysia & USA. New Partners are always sought in regions of the world where there is a demand for high-quality, British-engineered products. Research & Development of our products is a constant process and one to which FFRDL is fully committed as a critical element to the future success of the business.
