About First Day Shoe Fund

First Day Shoe Fund is a Kalamazoo based non-profit who provide and fit brand-new athletic shoes at public elementary schools in Kalamazoo County at no cost. Since 2006, we have been providing new shoes to elementary students in our community. In 2024, we have fitted over 11,000 pairs of new shoes! We are grateful for the support of our community; hundreds of donors and volunteers help us to support thousands of students every year!
