First Door is dedicated to inspiring, supporting and empowering the Early Childhood profession. We partner with Early Childhood educators, leaders, teams and their management to support professional growth and improved outcomes for all stakeholders. First Door creates and provides tools for inspiring fresh purpose, sharing ideas and different perspectives, and for reflection focused on quality improvement strategies. We ‘fertilise’ knowledge and skill sets, so that Educators and Leaders are positive role models and are motivated to be their best professionally. First Door advocates for the Early Childhood profession to be recognised for the significant impact we have on each child’s remaining lifetime. We empower skilled educators with purpose to see each child flourish, through their quality interactions in education and care. To achieve this, we: - advocate for the Early Childhood profession and its contribution to each child’s lifetime, their families and to our future society. - promote the need for ongoing learning and reflection within the Early Childhood profession. - provide individual and team professional learning that is relevant, engaging and practical. - provide Nationally Recognised Training for dedicated, capable and qualified educators and leaders that have a deep understanding of the value of their role. - enable focused students by providing support and structure in their learning, with inspiring resources, personal mentoring and with timely and constructive assessment processes. - partner with exceptional Early Childhood centres to share practice rated Excellent by ACECQA, and their journey of continuous improvement.
