About First Financial Credit Union

First Financial Credit Union was formed in 1937 by ten members of the telephone company here in New Mexico. In the early 80s, the breakup of the Bell System occurred. With the breakup came a period of downsizing in the state. At this point, First Financial chose to pursue additional fields of membership so as to not be impacted by the changes in its environment.
