About First Glance Student Center

First Glance is a youth center located in Akron's Kenmore community on Kenmore Blvd. Our mission is to connect students and their communities to Christ and the Church through authentic, loving, and non-threatening means. We achieve this through a variety of activities, programs, and outreaches, with the ultimate goal of becoming a second family to our students. The love of Jesus empowers all that we do, as we meet students where they are, build relationships, encourage their potential, and remind them of their worth in Christ. We offer eleven different programs for students of all ages. Regardless of the program or activity, First Glance provides a safe haven of grace and unconditional love for students, teenagers, and young adults. Here, individuals can be themselves, have fun, and learn about God.
