Through golf and our core values, kids and teens will learn life skills including: • Making proper introductions • Managing emotions • Resolving conflicts • Setting up step-by-step goals • Planning for the future • Appreciating diversity ABOUT US Located in Wilmington, we are a part of an international youth development organization introducing core values through the game of golf to youth ages 7 to 18. Through after-school and in-school programs, we help change the trajectory of young people lives through the game of golf. And it’s making a difference. Our research-proven programs are having a positive impact on participants, their families and their communities. Teaming up with experts in positive youth development, The First Tee of Greater Wilmington helps youth become good golfers and even better people. CORPORATE COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT This success story can easily be adapted to you and your organization or business. Your group delivers The First Tee programming each week at various golfing locations. Lesson plans are sent to all coaches each week. Volunteering may help build a stronger, more motivated team and increase camaraderie at your business!
