Shai Fishman is an innovative composer of music for film, television, and theater. Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Shai started his musical studies at age eight. Extensively trained in classical, jazz, and contemporary music, Shai's compositions cover a wide range of genres, including: classical, action-adventure, ethnic, asian, modern, electronic dance, hip-hop and dubstep music. He specializes in MIDI productions and arranging for orchestras and small ensembles Among his recent clients, compositions and production credits are: Head composer for NASA’s Immersive Earth Grant and the Houston Museum of Natural Science Creator, composer, arranger and music director of the internationally acclaimed show: “The VocaPeople”, for which he won the Lucille Lortel award and was nominated for the French Emmy, Les Globes De Cristal Co-Creator, Arranger, Music Director for the VocaPeople Arranging and musically directing T-Mobiles campaign “Life’s for Sharing” (for which he won the 2011 British Arrow for best commercial of the year Shai masters seven musical instruments. His extensive musical theory studies make him a well-rounded and dynamic musician. Shai's extraordinary ability to understand drama and action, combined with an innate talent and passion for film scoring and musical theater have catapulted him to being a groundbreaking force in the field. Shai is consistently expanding his repertoire as he is always engaged in new projects all over the world.
