Founded in 2015, Fish in a Tree is where imagination takes root and stories grow wild. We harness the power of the great outdoors to ignite creativity, deepen children’s connection to learning, and nurture the art of storytelling and creative writing. Creative writing is at the heart of what we do. By turning nature into a living, breathing stage, we empower children and young adults to not just write stories, but experience them. Every session is a journey where imagination leads, and confidence follows. With 20 years of extensive teaching, mentoring, leading and training experience, we understand how to turn this creativity into proven impact within the curriculum. We celebrate every child’s unique voice and learning style, working with young people of all ages and abilities. Through Fish in a Tree and School Speakers, we also deliver inspiring workshops and talks in educational settings across the country. Now, we're growing in exciting new directions. We're developing a vibrant range of online resources and imaginative tools for both schools and home educators. It’s early days but what’s coming is going to be very special!
