Our Mission The mission of Fitness Forum at LifePlex is to assist others in reaching their God-given potential, especially through physical fitness and health as it relates to and sets in balance with mental and spiritual fitness. Our Belief Statement Fitness Forum Sports & Wellness was founded upon a God given vision to provide holistic health care to the people of Plymouth and surrounding areas. It is our belief: That God is sovereign and has created us in His image to honor Him through stewardship of our body, soul, and mind. That everyone has the right to strive for their greatest potential physical, spiritual, and mental fitness regardless of their present state. That wellness is a state on the continuum of health, superior to being free of sickness, but rather living with intensity and purpose adopting behaviors that promote health, and eliminating behaviors that are self-destructive. Our Core Values Service Commitment Respect Education Communication History of Fitness Forum Our Story Fitness Forum at LifePlex is a medical fitness facility that emphasizes healthy lifestyles for treatment of disease, longevity, and quality of life. The first Holm Medical Clinic was opened in 1978 of Center Street. In 1982, Fitness Forum Nautilus was opened to work with clinic patients who needed help to reduce and/or eliminate the effects of lifestyle diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes. In January, 2000 a fire totally devastated both the Clinic and Fitness Forum. By spring of 2000, both had moved to a temporary structure of Hoham Drive. In March 2007, Fitness Forum and Holm Clinic opened their doors in the LifePlex building.
