FUN. FITNESS. CHARACTER. Fitwerx well-rounded youth fitness program incorporates elements of health related fitness and skill related fitness into every class, clinic and camp, including fitness assessments to measure individual progress toward personal goals. Fitness-focused and sport-applicable skills are taught in a fun environment to help kids achieve greater skill, strength and self-esteem to last a lifetime. Kids in grades 1-5 participate in exercises, games, drills and friendly competitions to continually test their personal best while increasing strength, agility and focus, and developing an overall appreciation for health and what it means to be fit. Additionally important to youth development is the philosophy that Character Counts. It's more than being a good sport on the playing field, it's about incorporating positive character traits into our everyday lives. Traits like respect, honesty, compassion, gratitude and courage are infused into the curriculum to develop well-rounded good citizens. Our focus is on having fun, being fit and building a foundation for lifelong health and fitness.
