Founded in Fitzrovia in 2008, we produce immersive creative learning and public engagement for events, exhibition and publication, working with educational institutes, museums and charitable trusts.Consultancy includes The Plunkett Foundation, The Centre for London and architectural clients.Our tenth year as a CIC was celebrated by the regulator: https://communityinterestcompanies.blog.gov.uk/2021/07/01/fitzrovia-noir Projects include: 2021-22_'Cargoes' made possible by a Heritage Fund grant, with support from Havering Changing and Armstrong Studio Trust, to unearth the shared industrial heritage of the Tyne and the Thames in the late 19th C. Already this has had clearly marked results, most notably the opening up of a 'controlled ruin' Armstrong's 1863 Banqueting Hall in Newcastle: https://fitzrovianoir.com/case_studies/cargoes/ 2018-22_Tommy Flowers Community Pub and Making Space, Aberfeldy Estate, London E14, fostering new cultural activities on a high street that was 80% closed when we arrived, but is now a thriving hub. Supported by Poplar HARCA, Arts Council, The Mayor's Office and Tower Hamlets Council.
