Fiut Publishing House was set up in 1990 and in 2020 we celebrated our 30th anniversary. The company has established itself as one of the leading Bulgarian publishing houses in the field of Children’s & Young Adults books. We publish between 50 and 80 new titles and print runs per year, among them picture books, pop-up and lift-the-flap books, activity and educational books, children’s hobbies books, children’s fiction and illustrated encyclopedias with up-to-date information as well as the monthly magazine for up to 4 years’ old called “Barborino”. Our books are well known among children, parents, teachers and librarians for their high editorial and text standards as well as quality design and illustrations. In 2004 Fiut was recognized by the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture as the Best Bulgarian Children’s Publisher and given the national award “Konstantin Konstantinov”. We have established successful partnership with a large number of foreign publishers like Simon&Schuster, Ravensburger, Usborne, Weldon Owen, Five Mile Press, Coppenrath, Templar, Orion, Igloo books, Kids Can Press, Susaeta, Ballon, just to name a few. We are proud to have in our catalogue Bulgarian award-winning authors like Julia Spiridonova and Kina Kadreva who has IBBY’s Andersen Diploma.
