Flanders' FOOD is een ledenorganisatie met ongeveer 300 industriële eden en 30 onderzoeksgroepen. (English) Flanders' FOOD is the innovation platform for the Flemish food industry. As a platform, it brings together the industry, the research institutes and the governmental agencies. The mission of Flanders' FOOD is "to strengthen the competitiveness of the food sector through stimulation of scientific and technological innovation". The mission will be realized through the following goals: - Knowledge development: start up of industry driven research project - Knowledge diffusion: diffusion of existing knowledge through seminars, training sessions - Knowledge adoption: commercialization of the research results by SME’s Our focus is on "healthy, balanced and tasty food products of tomorrow", controlling the caloric intake, nutritional value and optimizing health promoting effects. Flanders' FOOD is a membership organization with approximately 300 industrial members and 30 research groups.
