Flannel Check is a unique, impactful and easy campaign to bring awareness to a variety of cancers and chronic diseases. Flannel Check week is an easy way to support friends, family members and the community in any and all health challenges they face - and to motivate each of us to schedule an annual physical or health screening to detect and cure diseases early. Why Flannel? Every Disease state has its own color ribbon. For example: Breast Cancer is Pink, Prostate Cancer is Light Blue, Melanoma is Black, Heart Disease is Red and so on… When you combine all the colors together for every disease state it forms a flannel or plaid pattern. Participating in Flannel Check Week helps saves lives through awareness of early detection and screening for all illness and disease. Flannel Check Week is February 4-10, 2019. Flannel Check awareness campaign was designed by Cutting Edge Health Team. Cutting Edge Health Team was founded in 2008 and is a 501 (c) (3) charity. Lean more at flannelcheck.org.
