OVERVIEW Flat-foot Airconditioners was established in 2006 by Mr Max Mabuti. During its 10 year existence it has grown and developed into a leading black owned and managed company. The company specialises in big airconditioning plants used in Hospital Theatres and Big Shopping Centres (Ice Plants) e.g Makro in Cape Town (Cape Gate). We also specialise in Milner Machines, Kennygysers and Lavamac laundry machines used in advanced Hospitals. In 2013 Flat – Foot Airconditioners attained the ISO 9001:2008 certification through BSI (also known in its home market as the British Standards Institution), in an audit that took about a year to complete. We are proud that our Quality Management System meets international standards, so as to service our customers better and effectively. MISSION AND GOAL The company’s mission and goal is to benefit our clients and communities through their traditional institutions and local authorities with innovation, service excellence and ensure continuity through development and skills transfer programmes to young technicians with PDI status. The company also aims to bridge the gap that exists in the mechanical engineering field and to transfer skills to the community. The South African economy will only improve when the previously disadvantaged communities are empowered, not only through company active action, but also through the promotion of self-sufficiency.
