Over 25 years ago, FlavorActiV started out with 16 flavour reference standards, giving tasters the understanding of a specific defect or attribute. Today, we manufacture over 80 flavour standards at the Quay Pharma Flavour Centre. Each one produced to GMP standards and blister packaged to ensure a consistent quality, and strong shelf-life. But we are more than just flavour standards… our multi-lingual sensory specialists, based all over the world, are servicing food and beverage brands with sensory training. Our training programs can be delivered in-person, or remotely with training materials sent in advance to tasting panel leaders. Once you’ve trained to recognise specific flavours, calibration is the next obvious step to maintain and improve sensory ability. Our award-winning Taster Validation platform is used to track your results, and produce automated reports in real-time – these can be accessed from any device, anywhere in the world! Our sophisticated sensory instruments and programs measure and optimize beverage freshness and bitterness. When combined with human-sensory panels, value is added compared to separate use.
