The Flavors brand Authenticity & Family. These are the two pillars of the Flavors brand and the foundations of our success. Authenticity because at Flavors, we honor our roots. Our journey started in Mina Zayed and, like the once-tiny fishing port that would later become Abu Dhabi, Flavors restaurant grew from humble beginnings to great and global reach. From one Emirati port to another, from Mina Zayed to Mina Rashid. Flavors has replicated the recipe that so delights Abu Dhabi and has brought it to Dubai. To respect the rich history and uniqueness of the UAE, Flavors founder Chef Nabeel draws inspiration from the land and sea. He has crafted a concept that centers around fresh, healthy ingredients prepared at hand-crafted cooking stations, using 18th Century techniques. With dishes cooked before your very eyes with the fire bestowed on us by Mother Nature, Chef Nabeel has no need for electricity, gas or refrigeration. Flavors is authentic and ecologically sustainable. Family, because Chef Nabeel is an ardent advocate of family values and community-building. He believes that magic can only happen when an audience trusts in its magician. Himself a magician of food, he has created a community culture that cares for and nurtures the families of the chefs, the performers who conjure up his magical flavors. Guests can savor the aromas of the food being prepared around them in an atmosphere of universal trust. The recipes are simple, traditional and served with a modern twist. They are inspired by memories of Chef Nabeel’s beloved mother, the head chef of a family that loved -- and still loves -- cooking together. Thus, Flavors was born out of Authenticity & Family.
