About Flaws of an Everlasting Memory
Welcome to Flaws of an Everlasting Memory LLC! We are a group of independent filmmakers in the Bay Area who are working together to create a Vietnamese romantic musical feature film. Our story goes: A lonely, uptight lexicographer struggles to find love in Saigon while grappling with the untimely death of his first love. In the publishing world, books allow people to travel without using their feet as words allow people to read the heart of the mind. The character goes down the memory lane as he copes with the death of his first love. Sometimes, we don't have shelf control of our memories. This romantic tragedy musical celebrates the beauty of the Vietnamese language and untangles the mindset of someone undergoing the experiences of PTSD (Post traumatic stress disorder). This narrative feature includes a full Asian cast. The crew members come from diverse backgrounds who support each other in making this vision a reality while learning the unique qualities that the Vietnamese language has to offer.
