About Flinders University Social Work Association (FUSWA)

FUSWA aims to provide education and teaching activities, inclusive social events, health and wellbeing awareness and social development programs to aid in enriching the academic journey for all Social Work Students and Staff within the College. Our online (and ever growing) resources are made available to Flinders University students past, present, and future, with the aim to serve up a range of helpful solutions, study guides and industry related information to assist students in their studies, and beyond. We are bound by the three core principles as set out by the Australian Association of Social Workers AASN), Respect for Persons, Social Justice, and Professional Integrity (www.aasw.asn.au). We Acknowledge that the land we meet on today is the traditional lands for the Kaurna people and that we respect their spiritual relationship with their Country. We also acknowledge the Kaurna people as the traditional custodians of the Adelaide region and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living Kaurana people today.
