About FlipLok
It started with schools. With the staggering rise in active threat situations in the USA… our founder Anna, a Mom (and bonus mom) of six, wanted to do something. She wanted a system her children could lock and keep intruders out of their classrooms. So Anna and her husband John pulled a team of inventors and consultants together. We needed something so easy a kindergartener could use it. Something uncomplicated, so people could remember it when their hearts were racing. Something obvious. Something easy. A solution… when seconds count. So we made the simplest, most secure device on the planet: FlipLok. And then we took it beyond the classroom. Safety isn’t just about schools, but about the people whose lives they touch. It’s for mothers working late when their young ones get home from school. For daughters who’ve been followed on their way home. For sons who wake up to a noise in their kitchen. For individuals who live alone and people in crowded spaces. It took 50 prototypes, multiple international meetings, and a team in 4 countries to create the product we have today. FlipLok started as one mother’s solution to protect her children and has since transformed to provide protection and peace of mind for Americans wherever they are.
